w00t! I was so afraid since I missed S1 of In Treatment, finally watching it on DVD would be digging into a great show only never to enjoy the live broadcast.
I'm actually ok with Torchwood, only because S2 ended in such a way that turning S3 into a miniseries to relaunch the brand might actually be a good story move. yknow, so long as they give it a S4 ;)
The ONLY WAY I will ever be able to accept this miniseries bullocks is that reason you pointed out. Grrrr...
Watching IT on DVD is going to be better, methinks, than on b'cast. You'll see. My one word of advice: we'll see how HBO decides to organize the DVDs, but try your darnedest to watch them in the original b'cast play order. It makes a difference. (IE, do NOT watch all the Mondays first, then all the Tuesdays, etc. Go through all of "week 1," then on to "week 2," etc)
