So what's new, people? How's life out there? I've got nothing to report. I quit my job on Tuesday and my car shit the bed. So now the search is on for new employment and I'm confined to my house while my girlfriend works. Anybody wanna come over and keep me company? Scrabble? I'm lonely. Lol

I have been in your place many times. Relationships are so wonderful and take a LOT of work. As MRS. PHIL says, maintaining their relationship is a 24 hour job. I agree. Things aren't sunshine and roses forever. Renee and I made the mistake of overdoing our first year of bliss, and by that I mean we were crammed up eachothers butts and used up every sweet idea, bought every great card and beautiful flowers and really, just overdid it. We eased hesitantly into "phase 2" where I think we still are: After the honeymoon, it's time to get down and start working at understanding. It can get ugly, it can be joyful. Relationships change, people change, but if you ever were in love to begin with, you'll learn to love the change, embrace it as freshness in the relationship, and enjoy adapting to the new circumstances.
