Priscilla and I just brought home our first Christmas tree on Saturday, and we went out and bought all kinds of beautiful decorations. Last night we put on soft Christmas music and candles and decorated it! It was a true masterpiece. So, we sat back on the couch and admired our tree for awhile, and then we went to bed

Since you brought it up, that was my plan; to keep a squirt bottle near the tree and spray the cat everytime he goes near the tree. It won't take him long to figure out that the tree is off limits.

Is that cruel?

Listen, I feel awful bout your tree especially cause just the day before I heard you guys talk about how you went through all this trouble and spent all this money and got all this stuff and you were so excited, then some cat comes a crashes your X-mas party the very night you put it all up...but you know what. Just the irony of that alone is worth it. I laughed. And I think in a situation like this if you don't find some humor in it, you're gonna get sore.
I just pictured the whole event happening in my head again. Yup. Still funny.
