By summer I won't be an Illinois resident. I have been offered my old position at Grand Forks Tower, or an alternative in Pontiac Michigan. To say I'm not happy is the biggest understatement ever. Huge insults indeed. No EGF anywhere! My favorite pilots stripped from my grasp! :(

I'm still very undecided, I'll make an announcement in a week or so...this aint gonna be easy. I'll be back though, I love this town too much to stay away.

Those were the only options, not counting my resignation. We all know that's not happening. The next week is going to be spent purging again, getting the house ready for the market, etc...

I'll be back here. I have been told that I'm a better controller than most of the fully certified controllers here and my training isn't complete yet. I'll do more time at the minor leagues and step back into the mess as soon as I'm able.

I was wondering what was going on, it'd been so long since you'd posted. I'm really sorry you are stuck in such a bad spot right now with a not so good choice. But I know if anyone can make the best out of a seemingly terrible situation, you can. You'll make the best decision for yourself that you can right now. Maybe in the future, you will be handed an even better deal. Good luck to you.

Technically that would be getting a promotion out of a training 'failure' and they won't do it. I tried MDW but was denied. Hate.
