this poem knocked me on my ass last night. he's got some poems in a recent issue of pebble lake review

Statistics

She thinks I'm too young to understand.
After impact, flames look for survivors.
Small toys deflate across a damp road.
At rapid rates breath can collapse.

What keeps dropping and won't look up?
This heavy lung, a melting wrist.

ah! how wonderful! could you give me his e-mail? i'd like to send him a chapbook. also, i've been reading for pebble lake and would really love to see some of your work come through. poems, of course, would be delicious, but feel free to send in any genre you'd like, even graphic stuff. next issue is going to be stacked. stay groovy.

I really like Matthews work every time I find it. We published a poem of his last summer.

That's cool that you're reading for the Pebble Lake Review...their new issue looks so good, and I love how they feature audio online. I sent them some poems a few weeks ago (don't worry about offending me if you reject them).
