I made Derek a cake over the weekend. Something was wrong, however. The top layer's edge was a bit "harder" than it should have been. I did nothing different, except use new baking pans. I didn't know if they were the kind you didn't have to grease so I called my Mom. She said to grease them anyways and I did. I think that was the mistake.
