I suggest you get an iguana... they seem much smarter... more dog-like, a lot cooler-lookin... and they grow large like those monitors you like.

my family had an iguana for a couple years- he was amazing, but ran away when my sister brought him outside one day.

Hey Jan!!! how have you been??

I actually used to have an iguana, but it got too big to keep in the aquarium I used to have and my parents wouldn't let me get a bigger cage. I had to give it away to one of my friends. :-(

I've already made my mind on the Savannah monitor. Jay has 3 of them coming in on Thursday. I'm going to pick out the nicest one :-)

I still may get iguanas though. He said finding a green tree, let alone 2 green tree monitors will be next to impossible. Oh well.

I just don't know what I'm going to do with them when I come back to Buffalo for 2 weeks during Christmas...

i have a common green iguana she*s 5feet long and 12 years old and she*s as cuddly as a puppy we snuggle and she naps on my belly, i love her to death. get an iguana!
