CiSRA Puzzle Competition 2011 Recommendations

The 2011 CiSRA Puzzle Competition happened last week. Teams were limited to four people or fewer, which meant that several of our usual Plugh crew had to splinter off and form Xyzzy, a second team.

It went... well.

If you missed the competition but are interested in trying some of the puzzles, here're my recommendations (most links go to PDFs):

Congrats! We were slightly behind you guys (as usual). Wish we had known about the 5 point rule for being the first to solve any puzzle. We should have definitely focused on the unsolved puzzle from round 4 first! Basically the way it worked out this year was that the first to solve that one was going to win (assuming they got everything else).

I was, too, amazed, at the mini metas. And I thought the Rime puzzle (3D) was incredible.
