i've been filtering incoming sales emails into a 'sales' folder so i don't look at them as soon as they come in. besides i hardly ever do anything w/ those emails besides fantasize about shopping.
it's funny that you mention walking slower to take in the surroundings. i'm totally a fast walker, i can't just stroll and enjoy. i need to stop being in a rush all the time and smell the roses or something :)

My goals are:
1. STOP going back to sleep after Tom goes to work! God, I feel like such a lazy ass when I think about how many times a week I typically do this. What's wrong with me?! Just 'cause the couch is there does NOT mean I need to use it for hours a day. Geesh!
2. Have a cutoff time in the morning to stop doing online stuff, and then actually STOP doing it! Hello, my name is Cristy, and I'm addicted to LJ. *sigh*
3. Stop taking a 3 hour lunch. Seriously. I get hungry around 11, and I know there are shows I like that start then, so I head out there to fix and eat my lunch, then Tom comes home at around 12:45, and I sit out there with him almost the whole time he's here. Um, hel-lo? Wasting half your day much? So, now I'm going to let myself snack, but not take an actual lunch 'til Tom gets here.
4. Allow myself *short* breaks ( ... )
