so i'm feeling rather disjunct right now. that's not the right word? go fuck yourself. i dont care. i don't feel malevolent, just evil. we watched a film made about Matthew Shepard in sociology class today. he was the gay kid who got beat and tied to a fence and left for dead in wyoming in 98. i started crying in class. why ( Read more... )

imagine the scenario though: Every time you burn off the outer shell of humanity leaving only the "good stuff", those that are left are quick to redefine ranks. Ignorance and stupidity will soon come to bear again. I find it's best to ignore some of the *less desirable* traits of humanity sometimes. It's not really a cop-out either... just the opposite. There's nothing that can be done about it (these are traits some sections of humanity will always have), so it's futile to put too much thought or resources about it. at least at the personal level. Tend to your lot in life. It's neccecary and sufficient. for now, anyways.

i agree, and thus the solution is entirely wipe out humanity. but that's just not feasible.

the problem is that darwinism doesn't work quite the way it used to. people are living longer, more defunct lives and idiots are protected with their money or other such means. i could blame extreme liberals for this, but since that's a bit of oversimplification i'd label those individuals as just idiots too.
religion is also used as a shelter for incompetence as well.

I hate to say "it's human nature" since that's so 'used'. Read "the lucifer principle" by Howard Bloom. I'll even send you my copy if you want, but I reccommend you get your own. You'll like it. It's one of the few books I've read that's actually changed my outlook on a number of issues. and you know what a staunch prick I am. trust me, read it.
