Would it be a bad idea for me to make an obnoxiously large sign and bring it to the Roe vs. Wade rally that says the following:

"It doesn't take
Christianity
or
Heterosexuality
to be Pro-Life"I don't want to necessarily make my going to the rally all about me, but I think that it could start some good conversations about how the movement can make ( Read more... )

If I saw it, I would appreciate it, frankly...I HATE that the pro-life movement is so associated ONLY with religion and staunch conservatism, to the point where it overshadows the actual pro-life issue!

I think it's a great idea. I'm Christian and pro-life, but I'm not pro-life BECAUSE I'm Christian. The pro-life attitude is one that can, and does, transcend the religious affiliations. But so many people assume that it doesn't, that it is all religious nuts, that they discredit ALL pro-lifers. For that reason, it's probably more important that the people who DON'T fit that Christian stereotype stand up and make their pro-life attitudes heard ( ... )
