Careers in pro-life causes?

Which state are you in? Each state has a Right to Life affiliate, though they're typically located in Capitol cities. If you're near a Capitol city, you could give them a call. You could also volunteer to get your face on the radar. I called my affiliate (after volunteering for several years), asked for an internship and got one right away. It was suh-weet.

i am a social work major & am doing an internship for a pro-life agency & i hope to one day work for something like that... one thing i've talked with some volunteers about is the lack of people who have non-medical/human service skills/training... so agencies tend to lack people who have organization skills, advertising & promotional skills... lots of groups have newsletters/websites & things but they tend to take a back burner because of the lack of people who can do that. the downside is they may be task based so it may be an occasional thing.

Oh that's great! I think the main problem for me is I am considering it as a full time occupation, so I would need it to be paid, not just an internship or volunteering, which is great but won't work for me as I have bills, etc. ^_^ So hopefully I'll be able to call around and find something that is an actual job.
