The man was someone he couldn't ignore. He was like Dexter, in a way, the way he masked everything under a smile. His name was John and he liked to track down children. He had that monster inside of him, the monster that pushed him over the edge and made him do things he didn't regret. That's why Dexter followed him. When he cut the flesh from John's limbs, he had his story. He knew him, he saw him ( ... )

The fifth was more thought out than the last. Tonight was the Night. The night that everything felt perfect, the night that Dexter had planned out since the beginning of the week. Logan's story crept up on Dexter through work, and it was different. Logan had been watching him first, before Dexter even noticed. Why hadn't he noticed? He noticed everything. That bothered him, it was wrong. It wasn't right. He wasn't right. Logan shouldn't have even found him. What did he know? What did he see? As Dexter questioned himself, questioned Logan, he sunk the needle deep into Logan's neck. He would make this night last, he would make sure Logan understood what he did was wrong ( ... )
