Also, probe and beacon do you no good at all without a shovel.

I actually am taking a mountaineering class right now with the Boeing Alpinists Club. People who've experienced both this one and the Mountaineers class say that BoeAlps is more in-depth--so I'm sure they'll cover it. And I already have a shovel...

Just making sure...without avy knowledge, a beacon is nothing but an expensive body finder.
