The Easy Road

Jul 02, 2005 09:34

I'm going to be abandoned like those I have left before. I can feel it in my bones. Dissolution waxed certainty. The easy road picked by others instead of the improbable, and I am stranded here unable to change the fortunes told. I have made my bargain, having played choice over fate. And now fate will choose for others who would not have ( Read more... )

The Lady with Green Eyes over the Ladies with eyes of the void. Tis tough all around when either of those enter the playing field. One plays to win, the other plays to not loose. One if you decide to strike out for, she will loose interest and you will find yourself on amazaing adventures of, well, adventures: the other will harness you like a mule and drive you should you deign to thwart her designs. Both are fickle and both are harsh and both, my dear friend both, barely acknowledge human wants or needs. They are both more inexorable that the tides and as inevitable as death and we are the walkers on the skeins of their schemes. One or the other, and one can barely figure out which is which, as both are past masters of intrigue and deception. It has been said that the Gods throw dice for the fates of men, and this is so not true. Go would be better. Tis a grander design they play. Only near the end, can we tell which one has the upper hand. And by that point, the suns are exploding anyway.

i had a series of dreams once when i was in my early 20's...where satan would come with me to this room, him holding flowers from hell in his hands to give to me, and we would sit down and play go, talking about things the whole time.

I promise you, whatever happens, some people won't abandon you.
Granted, they may be far away, but.. that doesn't mean their backs are turned.
*huggles tight*
And yeah.. *grins* Sometimes it's nice ot knowing what is coming.
But.. it can take some getting used to, when you're used to seeing it..... but hey. Spice gives variety to life, right?
And sometimes the wind blows the leaves just *slightly* differently - just enough to give a different perspective; a different smell.. a different day its feel.. and makesus wonder what tomorrow will bring.
And somewhere, there are are people who will NOT leave their choices to fate.. and we stand next to you. :)

eh; sometimes the eloquence pours out.. and sometimes I am a gibbering two-year old.
Either way; when the words are 100% meant, especially when also full of respect and caring, they tend to come out mostly well.
You're welcome.. as always.

I'm not even going to try to translate the cryptic stuff. I will only say this: our household already has one old lady whose bones predict the weather - so just ask. ;)

Sometimes I wonder how you're doing.

And then I read this post.

I contemplate what you wrote.

But...

I don't understand any of it, and I'm left wondering how you're doing all over again.

*sigh*

Let me tell you how I feel.
No.. to long, let me sum up.
I'm 80% happy, and the other 20% will come with patience.
I have no regrets for moving, save one, and it will be corrected in time.

Does that help?
