This is a brilliant way to explain the flaw in most people's relationships. Most are so attatched to some fixed image of what their partner is or what happiness ought to be... In complete agreement with Tolle, I definitely support the idea that it most important to recognize the "formless" in one another in order to be able to truly relate in any fashion--romantically or even as friends
