Anzu, who had curled herself onto the couch and was reading, jumped slightly when she heard the doorbell. Setting the book aside, and tossing the blanket she had covered heself with off (and rather upset at the sudden loss in warmth), she headed to the front door.

Opening the door, she spotted Amelda...and felt a rather familiar blush creeping into her cheeks. Trying to force said blush down, she smiled. "Hey! Haven't seen you..."

Amelda smiled softly, scratching the back of his neck. "Y-yeah. I was just going to see if-- well, if you were, uh... alright. I mean--you were sick."

Che...! The red-head sweatdropped. Whatever happened to 'playing it cool'? He was stuttering like an idiot. His cheeks tinted in embarrassment, and the red-head was having trouble looking into Anzu's eyes.

Anzu grinned, gently pulling him into a hug. "I'm fine now, if that's what you're trying to ask. Do you want to come in? It's obviously much warmer than outside..."

Amelda hugged back, grateful for the invitation. He couldn't help but give her a nice squeeze. "Yeah well.. I'm--glad you're okay."

Her hair smelt so nice. Amelda didn't want to let go. The awkwardness could wait, even IF that would be the feeling that would undoubtedly occure if he held her for another 10 minutes. It just felt so right.

He coughed slightly, bringing a fist to cover his cough. "And yes, I'd like to come in."
