So, being the North-Shore kids that we are, we are often forced to come up with creative ways to escape boredom. Alisha and I seem to be rather good at this, and this summer is no exception. Even after 9 months away from each other at school, we are re-united and boom.. pure genius. This summer's idea, compliments of Allie, Alisha and friends is :

goodness, gnome thievery (yes, i made up a word) is a tricky thing but i do love it. you forgot a very important part of the gnome-snatching process...naming them!! how you want people to see your gnome is all in the name. example: you grab a gnome, a gentle looking gnome who sits upon a toadstool and smokes his pipe, what do you name him?? now, an unexperienced gnome-namer would go for the obvious...something like: smoky mcsmoke or jerry who sits on mushroom and smokes....or even just stoner-gnome. PATHETIC! you want people to view your gnome as mystic and wise...you go for: Balthazore the Wise or Mertin the Storyteller. (it's all about the "the"s in the middle, they tell what you need to know). well, that's it. the final step in gnome thievery (ooo, used my word again)...after that all you do is find a home for the gnome. gnomes need homes too, you know.
