I can do this.
I mean, he chose me for a reason. Evidently, he trusts me to do a good job, or he wouldn't have picked me in the first place.
Even if he is the only person who thinks I will do a good job. Well, Lily sort of thinks I will. Or that I might, anyway. She did seem surprised that I was chosen, but not as horror-stricken as most people. Not even as confused as I was.
It's not that I don't think I can do it. I know I can.
I'm just annoyed that I can't take points from Slytherin for destroying my soul.

Back to school again. It's really weird to think that this is the last time I'm ever going to be arriving at Hogwarts. Tomorrow is my last first day of school. This is also the first time I've ever been expected to set a good example for little children.
See, I've never really thought of myself as a mentor to troubled youth. To tell you the truth, I much prefer corruption and leading down dark paths.
Anyway. None of you have anything to worry about with me in charge. Unless you're a slytherin or a particularly devious first year. Though, in the case of the latter, we might just get along.
