i have all but abandoned my paper and scrolled through journal entries for almost three hours. i have already eaten my allotment of bean burritos for tonight. the clock in my kitchen is ticking plaintively and i have one sentence.

so kind of you to take an interest in my work. most monkeys are petulant, smelly, and preoccupied with all that is transitory and stupid. i trust that God kills those monkeys first, at which point, i applaud.
