I liked it, but I found it a bit confusing. The first four lines tell that the stars are memories from youth. The next four talk about how woe and sorrow can be both good and bad (facing backwards and forwards). Tat's fine, but how does this tie to the stars? The pure tear also confused me, I didn't know how that tied to stars or the woe and sorrow. The last four lines show that the stars are not only just for finding memories of childhood; the stars are still used today, for your wishes. The last two lines feel like they should be separate from the other two connected to it, unless the person addressed in "your answer" is God.
don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to criticise you or anything. I'm just putting down everything that ran through my mind when I read the poem. What I say might actually be wrong, since I'm not the most artistic or poetic person. I just put it down anyway, so you know that I actually read the poem, as opposed to posting "ohhh Wes its so cute I love it" when the truth is I barely skimmed it.
