Have you guys heard about the scanned epilogue pages?

i've just read the epilogue scans and that's enough for me to know i'm going to hate much of the other content. :(

by the way, who is your favorite character? because i wanna know if i should be freaking out too, lol

Since you've asked so nicely (and posted so speedily *Yay!*) it's Percy. While the epilogue features him the other spoilers I've read stated his demise and all of the grovelling business (admittedly I'm also upset because it screws up a lot of theories AND thwarts other issues about him that has been going on since Book 1- his death and grovelling really cheats of him of the deeper issues going on) but I'm aware that not everyone like Percy (he IS the Least Likeable Weasley).

The thing that might make this epilogue fake could be the fact that this in no way ties up the loose ends. (Think of the big issues and all the characters throughout the series). A happy ending is in order so I'm not upset about that but surely JKR doesn't expect that the death of Voldemort and the sanctity of OBHWF would make everything perfect and happy- Where are the signs of the world healing itself and progressing?
