HISTORY:
http://aceattorney.wikia.com/wiki/Miles PERSONALITY:
Miles Edgeworth is a perfect example of complexity at its finest. He is a man who prefers to hide himself through a perfectly crafted mask and a seemingly relentless shell of an exterior- not literally speaking, of course. His piercing grey eyes and sharp gaze help define him as the stern and intelligent man that he is; Miles is serious, to say in the least. His four year perfect record of never losing a case when prosecuting, before a certain defense attorney’s arrival, is a perfect example of his determination and once distorted sense of justice.
Even having detached from his former, more ruthless self (for the most part, anyways). Miles still proves to be a worthy yet frightening challenge when facing him. Though he no longer fights soley for the guilty verdict, if he believes that he is correct then he will use every trick in the book - except cheating - in order to come out victorious. Looking away from courtroom, his personality hardly changes aside from the fact that he’s a bit more kind considering the courtroom is serious business. If anything, his rudeness comes from the idea that he’s socially awkward. Miles grew up without close friends or a real family so having a bunch of people suddenly care for him is a bit of a shock. Sometime he just isn’t sure how he should act with his buddies. On the split side, when dealing with other people, Miles can be real smooth talker. When he wants to, he can be very charming and wonderful person to have a conversation with.
The prosecutor can certainly come off as being a bit on the harsh side, but that does not make him a bad person. Beneath his snobbish personality is man that truly cares for those closest to him. There were moments when he pushed people away, even when he needed help, to keep those who cared about him protected. Miles will go to the greatest of lengths to ensure that his friends are safe and taken care of even if it means pretending to be a defense attorney, flying halfway across the world, or working against his own client (if becoming aware of their guilt in whatever crime had been committed).
Miles is a man that has grown significantly in a short amount of time. From believing that all are guilty to believing in the idea that one is innocent unless proven otherwise, Miles shows that he has a great sense of justice. From his young years in grade school, he had always wished to follow in his father’s footsteps to be a defense attorney. He fought hard for those who were innocent and strictly abided by evidence being the key to any case. Though things had not worked exactly as planned, Miles found that proving those who deserved to be in jail guilty as important as defending those who are not guilty. For him, it is no longer about winning, but making sure that justice is served in an equal manner.
Aside from being a prosecutor, Miles doubles as a detective. He doesn’t wait for the evidence to be brought to him; he investigates alongside an odd detective while using logic to find evidence and solve any problems he faces during a case. He is fairly intelligent, being a person who is able to think quickly on their feet and
First glance: Miles is a ruthless prosecutor. Second glance: Miles is a socially awkward man. Third glance: Miles is broken. After the unfortunate murder of his father at a very young age, Miles had fallen into a state of depression and denial, he became a person who preferred to be on his own rather than rely on the help other others. The day his father died, Miles was caught residing within an elevator after an earthquake. Because of this, he is deathly afraid of earthquakes and tends to avoid elevators at all costs.
POWERS/ABILITIES: Aside from his intelligence and clever, use of logic Miles has no real powers or abilities.
ACT SUGGESTIONS: It's sort of hard to find a place for Miles within the stage light. He is no actor, his flexibility and balance are adequate, and he is far from being a clown. If anything, Miles can stand around and look pretty.

FIRST-PERSON:
Though I am not one who particularly enjoys prodding others during my free time, I believe that I can make an exception during this instance. For now, I am humbly requesting answers, but, as a warning, I will say that if I do not find what I want to know soon that I will be far from pleasant over the situation.
As a fair warning, I will like to point out that I am a lawyer, and I will not hesitate to bring the matter to court if need be...if it is safe to say that we are near a courthouse of sorts...With this mind, I do have a very important question that I'm sure will be easy enough to answer. Where, exactly, am I?
THIRD-PERSON: I'm assuming they have a dressing room of sorts? Tell me if that is incorrect, thank you!
It is in the distance where Miles can pick up a trace of sound, the voices of many excited individuals unknowing that the acts they are about to view are innocent people trapped within the restraints of a circus. There is no way out, and there no way to fight his fate...at the moment. Plotting and scheming would come in the latter, but for now, all he could do was stare grimly at his reflection in the mirror- an image distorted by powders, shadows, and liners. A face once casting a look of professionalism was now hidden by costume make-up. How embarrassing, he thinks to himself, the edges of his lips tightening the frown already plastered upon his face.
A sigh escapes from his mouth, his long fingers moving to barely touch the tattoo plastered upon his face. This reminding mark of his imprisonment was certainly an annoying one, one that he would see every time he caught glimpse of his appearance, one he knew would exist every time a person looked twice to take a glimpse at the odd marking on his face.
He sits within the dressing room, alone, his mind deep with thought, for a few more moments before pushing his palms against the desk the mirror was attached to, the force of his hands causing a light smacking sound to echo throughout the empty room. As he tunes into his surrounding a bit more, his deep thoughts vanishing through the rising sound of people not too far off, his eyes glisten.
There is, indeed, no use in wallowing for that never helped anyone get anywhere. Miles stands up slowly, gracefully, his eyelids momentary falling to cover his vision. A second passes, and his arm absent mindedly reaches out to grab hold of a top hat resting upon the table. In a swift movement, he turns and heads towards the door.
ANY QUESTIONS?: Nope. c:
