I do not have time to write something as memory filled as I might like, so instead I ask you to spend a moment to remember the late and great Oliver Postgate who passed away age 83.

Thank you Mr Postgate for so many fabulous childhood memories.

I was sad to hear of his passing too. Bagpuss was the TV equivalent of Winnie The Pooh, one of those childhood fantasy worlds that never quite seems to ever leave you entirely.

One of the defining memories of my childhood.
