Katie, why on earth did you take 23 hours worth of classes? Was it absolutely necessary or are you trying to graduate in 3 years or something? I just cannot imagine devoting so much time to classes like that.

It looks like you're going to be extremely busy during the next few months. But a trip to Europe sounds incredible! I'm very jealous because I still want to go there, but just haven't found the opportunity to do so yet.

I probably haven't kept up very well, but are you and your family not living in SC anymore? Please inform me of where you are now!

It wasn't necessary at all! lol. I AM trying to graduate in 3 years, but I still didn't have to take that many...it was all the music classes! Piano AND clarinet lessons, piano lab, orchestra, etc. It just added up and it was way too much. Blah.

Does Anderson do travel study?

Unfortunately no. =( My dad got transferred to the Naval Annex in DC, so my family lives in Northern VA now--I still consider SC home, though! I don't have any friends up here, lol. So yeah...this is where I am for the moment!

Anderson does promote studying abroad, but you never really hear of anyone actually doing it! History, English, and Spanish majors for the most part. Chances are if you don't see it posted on a bulletin board or buried in the dozens of e-mails we receive per day, we probably won't ever find out about it. I'm not exactly sure why that is. We always send a random group to a foreign country every summer, for those who can afford it. I'd like to do it sometime, though!

Wow, I'm so sorry that you guys had to move and it must be very frustrating for you. Let me know if there's anything that I can do!
