I did see it, and I'm trying to think of what to post there. Sadly, no inspiration yet. :(
I'm re-reading it right now, and I can't read about Claire without crying because I completely understand and she's such a tragic figure. Astrid's living with Rena right now; she just started reading her mother's letters.
Iv read that book at least 5 times. Everyone thinks it's so depressing but i love it, she goes through so much shit makes mistakes and ends up like a real person. Theres no perfect happy ending. Wich is right. Cause theres never one of those in life. And it's written so poeticly.
Ah you don't know me i randomly stumbled across your journal ( i think were in the same Lyrics Community) and i had to comment on that.
Thanks! I've read this book so many times I have lines memorized. Ingrid used to be my favorite because she's so twisted and manipulative, plus I loved her soliloquies about hatred and love post-Barry, but now I think I appreciate Astrid a lot more. And Claire, well... I can't help but cry with Claire. I don't think anyone can.
And random people are always welcome here; I don't get nearly enough.
