Long time no update. I went to India to present at a conference, give university lectures, and do some preliminary fieldwork. In other words, it was a "working vacation," so while it was lovely, it was also tiring

Sounds like very busy but good times. Glad to hear about trip to India, one day I hope to make it there.

This summers big trip has been planned...

I fly into London and spend a day or two there, head to the coast and get on a ship going to France *either visiting Paris or back to Normandy* then to Portland in the south of England where I will make a trip to Stonehenge. From there heading to Ireland for a few days then up to the Faroe Islands then to Iceland for a few days and on to Newfoundland and landing in Boston for a few days before flying home. I can't wait for this trip!!

Oh, yay! Spring Commencement! If possible, let's try to meet up/say hello/sit in the general vicinity of one another at the ceremony. I feel like it might be boring...

Definitely! I kinda loathe graduations, so it'd be fun to have someone to talk to. :)
