First of all, thank you so much for writing for me! Rest assured that I will be delighted by whatever you write and all of my optional details are just suggestions! Feel free to write your own plot bunnies if you have some. I will love your story regardless. ♥
I'll probably skim over explicit sex, and I would prefer no D/s, non-con or dub-con. I also have a mild embarrassment squick, but otherwise, go wild. I love exploration of characters and character relationships, but also people getting into cracky or serious adventures, epic plots or AUs and crossovers. I have a soft spot for time travel, soulmates/soulbonds, tropes like 'have to pretend date/marriage' or their inversions (they're already dating but no one knows it!), and HDM/daemon AUs. I also like fic that plays with format - Interactive Fiction, epistolary fic, etc.
Undertale
Frisk, Papyrus, Sans
I loved this game to bits but the thing I immediately wanted after finishing it was more SKELETON DATING SHENANIGANS. Platonic would be wonderful, but I'd also be delighted to see where you'd go with actual romance! I love Papyrus and Sans's brotherly rapport, Sans's puns and Papyrus's enthusiasm. I love the hilarious relationship between Papyrus and Frisk and the more laid-back low-key friendship Sans and Frisk have, and I'd just love anything with these three.
Some suggestions:
- Frisk needs to take someone to prom. *cough*NOT A DATE*cough*
- FAKE DATING. Does Frisk need to foil their parent's/guardian's nagging about relationships? Does Frisk need someone to come along on a double date?
- Someone thinks Frisk is two-timing the skeletons. Sans is less than helpful.
- Frisk teaches Papyrus to cook.
- Time loops? Frisk is replaying a save again and again and Sans is getting suspicious.
- Road trip! Sightseeing in the human world! Awkward motel shenanigans, bad diner food, the works.
More seriously, anything exploring the potential human-monster relations post-true ending with Frisk as ambassador, or Papyrus and Sans adjusting to life without the barrier/in the human world with Frisk's aid, would be lovely. I'd also be interested in seeing a Frisk who doesn't have much of a life in the human world (i.e. neglect, abandonment) trying to go back with the help of their friends. Exploring a previously almost genocide route Frisk/Chara and perhaps Sans's memories of it might also be interesting! I would prefer a relatively happy/true pacifist final ending, though.
Feel free to play around with format and POV and meta-references as you like, and I don't mind if Frisk is male/female/other - pick what suits you best!
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor
Naoya, Protagonist
I feel like every time I replay this game I have a craving for more Abel/Naoya and their complicated, somewhat fraught relationship, depending on the end route taken. I would love something shippy, but gen family/friendship vibes would also be great. I absolutely adore all the potential routes - from Naoya being Abel's guide in the Demon ending to the tense, somewhat regretful relationship between them when Abel is the Messiah. I tend to prefer the don't-kill-all-humans paths in the Overclocked endings, but otherwise pick and choose what you like - or feel free to create an entirely new ending!
Some suggestions:
- Post 8th day, Messiah Abel tries to become Naoya's friend again.
- Time loop/time travel/NG+? Abel or Naoya (or both) are stuck replaying the 7-8 days again.
- Abel's still missing quite a lot of backstory through Naoya's route - does he ever ask Naoya for answers? Does Naoya give them?
- Naoya's thoughts after Gin's/Yuzu's/Atsuro's route, where Abel basically gives up the power of Bel - all his work is gone, what does he think of it? Is he planning on trying again?
I'm a sucker for canon turn-left type AUs, so I'd also love any deviations from the set paths - Naoya or Abel reaching out or giving a few more answers along the way. I love the implications of God and Lucifer in this world, and would adore more delving into the politics of a world ruled by angels or demons, both who don't have qualms about killing people who disobey them, and Abel having to manage it all. I'd also love exploration of Naoya's past in relation to this go-through - how long was he working on the Demon Summoning program? How does he feel about Abel considering their past lives? Go wherever you like.
Final Fantasy XIII-2
Noel Kreiss, Serah Farron
I absolutely adore Serah and Noel, and while I'd prefer no romance between the two (I ship Serah/Snow and Noel/Yeul/Caius), I would love them being the awesome friends they are throughout the game, hanging out and having awesome time-travel mishaps or adventures. Their friendship - the smooth way they work together, the way they rely on and support each other and the strange isolation of being the only familiar people they know in some timelines - is something I would love more of.
Some suggestions:
- Expansion of paradox endings? Replica Serah and Noel from Academia, Atlas-ending Serah and Noel living and fighting and still searching for hope, Guardian Noel, pick any at all!
- New timelines/AUs? The game plays it fast and absurd with some of the endings, so anything goes.
- Serah hanging out with Lightning, or Noel with Yeul/Caius, in those dream-like alternates.
- Serah loves taking on quests for non-existent things. Noel isn't so enthused.
Basically the very premise of this this hits all my favourite things, and I love the execution too. I love the idea that all of these timelines exist in parallel - I'd love something bittersweet examining the past alternates: Serah edging away from a timeline where she never became a l'Cie, or never had the opportunity to meet Noel, but they're still missing Lightning; or Noel's own regrets that he knows won't change anything for him, now. Really though, go anywhere with this that you want.
Life is Strange
Maxine Caulfield, Chloe Price
(Oh man, that ending?! Spoilers for some.)
I love Chloe and Max so much! Their friendship is awesome but I also ship Max/Chloe super hard, if you want to go that way. They're both so different but I love how they have a distinct old-friends vibe, like they can just fall back in together despite everything; I love Chloe's big mouth and spunk and Max's quieter nerdiness, the way Max gets dragged along on Chloe's schemes but she loves it, really. I love their dedication to each other - Chloe listening and believing Max when she needs it, Max sticking up for Chloe when she can.
Some suggestions:
- Post Ep. 5, rebuilding Arcadia Bay. I'd like to hope some people are still alive; how does Max deal with the guilt? Chloe comforting her would be lovely.
- Mid-game or somewhere: Max keeps ending up in the wrong alternate reality with a Chloe who isn't quite hers.
- Five times Max kissed Chloe/asked her out/admitted her feelings and reversed it, and one time she didn't.
- Canon-divergent AU? Max has so many choices, but the ending comes down to a binary; what would change it?
- All the romance tropes: married in Vegas, locked in a closet, cuddling for warmth, go wild.
I love the game, but that ending only raised so many questions - so I'd also love fic focusing on Max and Chloe trying to sort them out. Max had a vision of the town's destruction before she saved Chloe the first time - so was it even her powers that caused it? Would Max just not using her powers after saving Chloe stop the tornado from coming through? The alternate universe was affected too, but not to the same extent - could Max drag Chloe through space/time to somewhere better? If the tornado is inevitable, could Max rewind and warn everyone she knows beforehand? Anyway, go wherever you like - bittersweet is fine but I'd prefer Chloe to not be dead at the end, however you manage it.
