i have, it would seem, decided not to be a runner after all.

Over the last few years I've run a few half marathons and gotten up to logging 16 mile runs on rare occasions.  I've never driven the routes though.  Two weekends ago I was driving a car in the part of town where the Outback Classic (13.1miler) is held every Thanksgiving.  The co-occupant

Interesting thought! I've run several marathons and probably over 20 half marathons, but I've barely been in a car since I started doing really long distances. But now that I think about it -- the idea of running as far as one can go in a car in a half hr at 60 mph -- yeah, kind of unappealing!
