When I ate vegan I went between 185 and 190. I just checked in on the scale and I go 205 these days. Meats, cheeses, and desk jobs apparently equal fifteen lbs. I'm not a fan of those 15 though. Earlier this year I trained for, and ran, a 5k. I started off not being able to run to the end of the block, and after nine weeks I ran a whole 5k. I lost exactly three pounds in the process, keeping me at exactly the same BMI level.
I couldn't believe that I could make that much of a difference in my health and it wasn't reflected in my weight OR my BMI. I know it's purely anecdata on my part, but it really opened my eyes to the fact that weight =/= health.
That being said: I don't think I've ever seen Christian Bale looking so unattractive. You may have scarred me for life, thanks.
