I don't think that we 4-seasoners have the monopoly on SAD.
Is there any sort of escape for you? Here, I can escape to the arboretum or a garden store (or, in a pinch, the ceiling lamp department at Menards) in the winter. What can you do when the heat is just sucking the life out of you?

I actually went out tonight on an attempted four-miler but crashed at mile 2.5, completely dehydrated, and walked back the rest of the way trying not to vomit or allow my light-headedness to progress too far. I'll spend the next 24 hours gorging myself on water and potassium and go for three miles tomorrow. I haven't worked out the calculus of it yet, but to me, running 10miles at 65' is easier than running 4 at 95'.

I would say that, after 75', each five degree increment increases the difficulty of the run two fold. if it's 110 degrees outside, all you have to do is walk to the corner store and you will have put in more of a run than if you'd done a 10 miler at 65'.
Ugh, the maths.
