driving does suck. fortunately Janelle loves to drive, so I usually let her or someone else. every once and awhile I want to drive (a control issue, no doubt) but my car has no radio and my cd adapter won't be accepted by my gosh-darn radio, so usually i travel in silence. i like silence just as much as i like music, but apparently my passengers always want music. so i often get 'voted off' when drivers are asked for... unless it's field service and the radio isn't supposed to be on anyway.

hey mindy... i've got some guy issues... in all seriousness... guys make things more complicated than they should be... especially when you find yourself attracted to them... we gotta talk... i need your advice

miss you something awfaul!!!

i've been in 4 accidents, and all would have been easily avoidable if i'd been paying attention.

that takes a lot of guts and honesty to admit.

i think distracted drivers get lumped in with bad drivers. often by their own admition. distracted drivers aren't bad drivers. you're a very good driver. i can't tell you how many people i've ridden with who were paying complete attention and still frightened me a lot.

there's also a difference between willfully distracted drivers and those of us who don't multitask well. you give what's ever on your mind your complete focus. and that's good for many things. and while "they" have studies proving that multitaskers don't actually get more done, it's a good skill to have when you're cruising in the right lane (the most oft merged-into lane) whilst thinking of how you would organize the sofa set you saw on craig's list that you have to convince me to buy.

I am always thinking while driving. I have a hard time driving with other people in the car as I'm always driving alone for work. I have to ignore them mostly and just concentrate on the road. But I'm a "slashy" when it comes to the introvert/extrovert thing. I am shy and out going. SO I don't know how that figures in your theory.

Noises and smells make me nervous about my car. I'm so sorry your car broke on the freeway. That's rather nightmarish!!!
