Vegas Native Rule #1 Summary: AU. When his family chooses Las Vegas as their vacation destination, Greg decides the city has nothing to offer an eighteen-year-old. Young CSI Warrick Brown sets out to change his mind. ( Love, your first love, Vegas )
I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed this. I'm a pretty new writer and usually write Nick/Greg but after reading this, I think I'm going to see what I can come up with.
I guess this proves what a good writer you are because you really have inspired me. Any chance of a continuation of this?
You did a great job with the guy's characters and their life before Holly Gribbs. I love that Brass and Warrick always had a difficult relationship. Greg at 18 must have been a lot for Warrick, lots of energy, just a baby. Thanks for the story.
I'm glad you liked the history I threw in there. This was such a huge AU, I was trying to stuff in as much canon in as possible to make it semi-believable. Thanks for taking the time to comment!
I really love this story. Even though I tend to prefer Greg with Nick, he is a pretty versatile character and I think can be easily paired with almost anyone. Greg/Warrick definitely works.
I echo jayceepat's question - any chance of a continuation?
I'm glad you liked it! It's funny that you mentioned that Greg was a versatile character. I always think of Warrick that way. I can pair him with anyone - Greg, Nick, Gil, Brass, Sarah, Archie...Everyone except Catherine. Unfortunately for me, there's more W/C fic out there than any other Warrick pairing.
Um, I'm not really sure about a continuation. I was thinking about an epilogue, but it'd probably be short--
Actually, I just decided. There will be one. I don't know how long it'll take me, but there will be one.
Haha, I think the comments may have persuaded me a bit. It'll probably be really short. I don't know how long it'll take me to write/post either, but there will be a sequel.
