I've been in such a blue funk for so long now. I haven't watched CSI until last week and I actually enjoyed it for the first time in such a long, long time. Today, I've been snowed in for 3 solid days. At least I have power and heat and cat food so things aren't as bad as they could be but I went prowling through the archives at CSI Slash. I found my old story 'Greg's Song' and then went looking for your story that inspired it. I re-read it and the comments and when I saw one that said you posted at this site, I came over to see what you were up to and found this.

I feel like the sun is out and I've been given a present. I feel the old joy and pleasure I used to feel when I watched the show or read a really good fan/fic. I can't imagine a more perfect sequel to "Rule". Thank you for making me remember how much I loved all those characters before a bunch of idiot writers went insane and spoiled it all.
