[When the video feed clicks on that morning, it's clear Alice? is distressed, and perhaps a little distraught. He can't sit still; he shifts uncomfortably even as he looks at the screen.
The mask is gone; he runs a hand through his hair distractedly, letting out a short breath, a not-quite-sigh.]I can't be the only one who...who forgot who they

Nope, you wouldn't be the only one.

Well...that's good. Did you forget too...?

No, but I know someone without a past. Or much of one, anyway. As far as Vatheon's concerned...well, let's just say I wasn't out and about. My joints can't take the cold and wet very well.
[Don't believe him, Alice?!]

Really...? Why doesn't he have a past?
[...This face.]
You don't look that old.

No...you aren't the only one. I lost memories of this place but not who I am, but I know I talked to others who completely lose everything of who they were.

You have memory problems, don't you? You're the one the angel is looking after. Alice.
[ A pause, and... his tone is wry. ] At least this time, you didn't die.

[Huff.]
It's like we can't get through the month without being embarrassed somehow.
[He pauses, hesitant.]
Yeah, that's me. You're...?
[He can't quite put the voice to a face. And--]
...Well, I'm glad I didn't die too.

Fine. I'm fine.
What about you? You're alright, right?

I'm fine. It was scary, though, you know?

I know...
But it's over now, so...it probably won't happen again.
[I hope.]

His memories do make him...the good.
And the bad.]
Alice?, I'm outside you're door now, okay? [He knocks sharply.] If you're in there, let me in.

But he's silent.
This hurts. It really does. Losing his memories again and again, no matter for how brief a time, when they're all he has--
And his identity. He swallows.]
That's...
['Not my name'. But he can't get up the courage to say so. It's all he has.]
