Well, at least she was there for the Valentine's ball. Her last memories of this place will be fond ones, if nothing else.

Memories are strange things. You never really forget because they're buried, and will eventually resurface if the right stimulus is provided. Even if she can't consciously remember us or her time in Vatheon, she still remembers unconsciously, and those changes carry over into how she acts in her home dimension.

There's a lot of study that goes into the human psyche. It's not 100% certain, but many psychologists agree on this fact. People repress memories as a way to defend themselves, and they can come back without warning.
