Hello, everybody. For the time being, I've relocated to a room within the mansion. I can't explain how it happened, but it's been made to look exactly like where I lived before. [what does she mean? have a look, as she turns on the video and wow that's a pretty hi-tech room. that's a lot of bullets...] I don't know how the equipment is receiving ( Read more... )

That is quite the room.

[Sorry were you asking questions? She wasn't paying much attention. The bullets distracted her.]

[what are priorities]

It's not really what most would expect my room to look like.

I'll say.

I guess that old saying it right, 'can't judge a book by it's cover'.

[Or was it 'beware the quiet ones'? either way.]

Because the state of the book's cover wouldn't necessary reflect it's actual contents?

[see? she gets it...]

[Curious look at the room! He's not sure what to say about it, but he smiles briefly before tackling the last part of her post.]

I was told that some Fae are weaker than others to iron. As I am made of iron, I can help you test that if you like.

I wouldn't mind, and I would like to make further tests of my own. I keep noticing that some Fae specifically continue to avoid me.

Is it your iron content? Some of the creatures here avoid me, but others don't seem to. The Ogres were very pleased to fight me.

I don't see why see else they would keep their distance from me... It's not my intention to hurt any of them unprovoked.

[ Those are a lot of bullets.. Is this appropriate for kids.. ]

That's a nice room.. I'm glad people got their room from back home back. Now we won't have to get homesick, right?

... Um.. Is Guilford-san gone though..?

[ course of it is... ]

I had just left this room before I arrived here, but I'm glad that I got to see it again.

He might've, although I'd like to make certain.

It must be nice to see a piece of back home here.. Maybe it's easier to sleep that way too.

Hmm, that's a little sad.. But it's probably better for people to go back home, huh..?

I used to have trouble sleeping, but I was able to... solve that recently.

It is, but I would've liked to have at least said goodbye to him.

I haven't seen the stone-faced old sod for a while, I have to say!

[He peers in interest at her room.]

That's quite the place you have there!

Stone-faced...?

Thank you. I'm wondering if I should maybe add a decoration or two to make it more appealing.

You know, his expression never changes? Always looks slightly irritable, like he's got some trapped wind or some equally minor malediction. [He says that distractedly as he peers at the slivers of room he can see over the feed.]

What's wrong with it as it is now?

I did notice that about him, but I thought it would be rude to ask him about it.

It's not very human-friendly. Don't you agree?

Exactly like your room looked before... huh. Mine looks different.

[ And if it isn't obvious, she doesn't sound quite as business-like as usual. On the contrary, she sounds like she was just laughing. Casual? Pretty close to it. At least, it is until her thoughts turn to Guilford. Then it slips into that professional cordiality, and rather fast. ]

Guilford is your Watch partner, correct?

As for your question about iron, the quantity doesn't matter so much as the purity of the metal. For example, the iron links we carry and the rods fitted to our crofts aren't very big at all, but they're pure and its the purity that counts. Only pure iron seems to effectively ward or due damage to the fae.

Really? What has changed?

He is, and I grow more and more worried about his safety and well-being.

Then perhaps the iron within my body is enough to negatively influence the fae.

It's like a cross between a lot of important places for me. [ Home, or what was home before the people that made it home were taken from her. Headquarters, too, and her room there... ] And then it's kind of like a dream in some ways since there's a lot of things I like? It's kind of hard to explain.

It is unlike Guilford to shirk his responsibilities. He hasn't left you a note or anything like that? [ And if he hasn't contacted Souji... ]

It's possible, but I think it would probably be more effective if it's located on your exterior and the chance for direct contact is there. I wouldn't discount the possibility, though.

I see. In any case, I hope that you continue to enjoy your room while we're allowed to stay here.

A note? No, none that I have noticed.

That's a good idea. I'll try to see if there's any way that I can manage this.
