[It’s raining quite heavily outside, but there’s still someone out there moving around. A glance would reveal that it is a large white dragon, who is rather drenched from the rain. However, the creature does not appear to be bothered by the water at all ( Read more... )

[Haku registers the sound of China's footsteps, followed by his voice, and he looks up while continuing to wipe the stray drops of water from his hair. He smiles rather sheepishly.]

Perhaps an hour, or longer. I lost track of the time, and the weather.

[He briefly glances in the direction of the sky, and then back at China.]

The weather has never bothered me, as surprising as that may seem.

No, I suppose I'm fortunate in that respect. The affinity I have with water helps with that, I think.

Strange, you don't appear very old to me, although it's hard to tell someone's age by only looking at them. [Haku smiles a bit knowingly, as he's a good indication of that himself.]

How different is the world you are from?

[ Oh hey, sup' Haku? Helios is making his way back from the forest after talking to the varying spirits, mainly Sona, good day to talk to water spirits. He's completely dry thanks to a little spell that has a makeshift water barrier over his head right now, his eyes widen a bit at the sight of Haku's dragon from; his mouth curving into a small smile. Who was it again that told him they were a dragon... ]

Haku?

[Oh, hello, Helios. That's a rather clever spell. When Haku hears you coming, he turns around, with a smile.]

Yes?

[ He does have his moments, even in his old age! ]

Ah-your dragon form. It was very...majestic, actually. [ He'd ask you to show him again because he's being really sincere, but he'll refrain. ]

You seem to be enjoying yourself!

Ah, thank you, Helios. [He wouldn't mind at all, if he asked again... Actually, he might even be a little flattered.]

I am enjoying myself; most people would think differently, but the rain is actually enjoyable to fly through.

[Rydia's out for a walk, both for peace of mind and to greet a few spirits. It's not as warm as she would like, to enjoy the rain to its fullest. Still, a little use of water and wind magic keeps her dry.

The white dragon definitely catches her attention, and for a brief moment, she has a wild thought. Upon rushing forward, though, she realizes with disappointment that it can't possibly be who she thought. Still, she watches with awe, until the dragon reverts into a more familiar face.]

Haku....

[Haku turns around, and lowers the now-dripping towel.]

Miss Rydia, is everything all right?

[She nods slowly, looking a bit wistful.]

Your form...it reminded me of someone. But I'm glad to see you again, too.

[Haku notices that he is being watched, and turns around, while continuing to dry his hair. He waits to see if the other person will say anything.]

[ Ah...he's a bit embarrassed to be caught staring so rudely. But still Watanuki offers a smile. ]

I'd offer the umbrella but you seem to be in your element.

[Don't worry, Haku doesn't think it was rude. A dragon is bound to attract attention, after all.]

That's all right, but I do appreciate the gesture.

[want to find a tired and beaten-up San collapsed nearby? Out of the sight of the village humans, of course]

[Of course he does. Haku is rather nosy, after all. He just considers it being protective.]

San?

[He doesn't know what exactly happened to her, but he moves closer to see.]

San! Are you all right?

[Not that he really expects an answer from someone who's collapsed, but still... He kneels on the ground and carefully gives her a shake.]

[unconscious people don't answer. She's so far out, actually, that the wolf instincts in her don't even force her awake and defensive]

[Well, this doesn't look good. Since arriving, Haku hasn't had any need to use his healing skills, limited as they are, but now this seems like a good time. He holds his hand over San, and a blue glowing light emits from it.

Except, nothing visible happens, and Haku frowns. His skills never were that impressive, but now they don't seem to be working at all.]

I suppose that you would not appreciate being brought to the healers here, as that would mean going near humans.

[His frown deepens.]

I'll return soon, San.

[He heads off into the forest, and returns within ten to fifteen minutes with a handful of leaves.]

Give me a moment, and I'll have this ready for you.

[He moves off, and finds the necessary tools to start a fire so he can boil the leaves in water. Soon enough, he's finished, and soaks the towel in it, and prepares to drape it over San's forehead.]

I may not be certain what happened to you, but this should help. It isn't dangerous.
