I have a huge new piece about the new Transformers The Movie toys on I-Mockery. Whether you think the movie looks cool or not, it can't be denied that many of these toys are extremely stupid looking. I am really NOT looking forward to this movie because I know it's going to disappoint me and urinate all over my bloody, beaten childhood in the same ( Read more... )

While I agree that the new movie is going to totally crap all over our memories of the original Transformers series, I have a hard time imagining it being worse than the Star Wars prequels? Have you tried rewatching any of those after seeing them in the theaters? They actually manage to get WORSE.

Yes, I've seen them since the theaters...and I agree. I don't think Transformers will be THAT bad, but I do think it will have the same effect on my childhood memories that the prequels had.

The radiation made Sterns super-smart and gifted him with the power of mind control in exchange for his ability to ever touch or even see in person a woman's breasts again (a malady shared by many comic readers). - from The Leader paragraph.

(Do you mean 'never', hon? Being pedantic...)

But yes, I wholly agree, especially with Lobo.

No, I meant ever! He traded in his ability to ever touch a woman's breasts again, and now he can never do it!

O, I'm retarded then - just ignore me! I read and re-read that sentence over and over, and I swear it just didn't make sense to me. As said, retarded.

Apparently Transformers is visually ace, but otherwise rubbish.

And see, it's the visuals I already loathe so much, so I'm sure I will probably hate it. :P

I've already gotten some hate mail from this Transformers piece...one guy told me I had no business reviewing toys that I don't actually own! Like I can't see what it truly looks like unless I've actually spent money on it.

The Transformers piece was hilarious. I put my boom box in my car's engine block too.

Haha, thanks man! And yeah, there really is no better place for a boombox than among the intricate parts of a working engine!
