the entire drive home i was really feeling guilty and unsure of our decision. I realised the band isnt about how good you are on yr instrument but how much commitment you have to the group. I want to really give myself to this group. yes, i really miss danny- honestly this was like a major "breakup" and i still feel shitty. but, i still think danny didnt "get it". he didnt want to admit that our beef with him was a real problem. what also pissed me off is that he was high. He couldnt even show up to talk about it sober. i hope very soon, he understands whats at stake and we can all make a commitment and he can come back. Honestly, i dont think anyone can take his place.

Granted i am not in the band, but i agree with peter....Although it seems like a huge change and something permanant, ultimatly what is best for the band will happen. I think there is still a good possibility that danny will take this as a kick in the head and eventually be able to come back...But he knows where the band stands and I think it is really up to him now..Not your fault cade. I'm not really close to anyone in the band, except maybe you, but I think that if you called everyone up and had another meeting or something it could all work out...maybe you should call Danny and just talk to him about it and see if you can get a commitment out of him, if the rest of the band agrees to it. I don't think you guys can just kick someone out after all the times you guys have gone through. Stand up for what you believe in.

i don't think danny should have been kicked out. no one is perfect, and even though danny has made a habit of this, you don't just do that to someone. you try to help them. not saying it's your fault cade, cause it's not like the would have kept him if you said "no" anyways. but still. you're right, now it's just gonna be 4 people and one douche bag. danny shouldn't have been kicked out. andrew should think about WHAT is right, rather than WHO is right. what's danny gonna do now? he knew how to fuckin rock the stage and he was awesome. ever since you guys changed your name, it's been downhill.

I don't think that everyone understands that although different members of the band had different levels of conviction, all of us knew that danny had forfeit the priveleges of being in the band. No person single-handedly decided to kick danny out, but we discussed it and all came to the same conclusion. Therefore It was nobody's decision but danny's. Having to part ways with danny as a band member was the most difficult thing that the band has done, and it's hard to understand, but we all want danny in the band. However, we feel that it's not our responsibility to have to double check danny for mistakes that could lead to problems for the unit as a whole. We've been getting grief about being his "friend" instead of a just a "bandmate", and hence keeping danny in. But what kind of "friend" risks the success of four others when they're in a band as good as ours? none. the kind of person that does that is an unreliable "bandmate", so as a "bandmate" we let danny go. As a friend, we will always be loyal to danny. I hope
