First year library school doldrums

I'm in my first year of grad school, slowly working my way towards a Masters in Library Science. So far it's been trying, if only because I am so eternally bored. I don't feel challenged by anything I've been presented with so far

i'm considering getting my master's in Library Sciences. I've heard some of the classes are boring but it would be worth it in the end for me. My hold back is that I don't want to take the GRE. blah.
