Hello from the Lakota Nation. It took three flights to get here, which felt about two too many. On the last flight, I sat in the very back and I swear the flight attendants were not buckled in but 30 seconds before we landed.

My roommate had some friends over for dinner last night and I kind of avoided everyone on account of the sinus infection. I had left some mullein leaf (it helps with breathing) in a plastic baggie on the kitchen table. Apparently when her friends saw it, they thought it was pot.

My Dad called today and I really am going to be an aunt.

This is the show I went to last Wednesday. It was very very good. (Except the opening act, John McLaughlin, which was like Gavin DeGraw without the 'soul.') I don't think the article mentions it, but I think the show sold out.

I remember a time when I totally had indie cred.

I think that was a long time before 7th row Kelly Clarkson tickets.

I watched Black Snake Moan yesterday and I quite enjoyed it. Especially the ending. Like the Parish said, it's one of the best examples of "bearing one another's burdens" that I've seen in recent memory.
