As much as I love my husband, the way his parents are being lately has me honestly considering just up and leaving him so I dont have to even be around them at all. I hate to admit that because it makes me feel ashamed that I feel that way. *argh* His parents make my blood boil and I dont even have to tolerate them. Youre completely right. Johnny NEEDS to start acting like a grown man and set some damn boundaries with his parents and stop tolerating thier shit. Somebody needs to smack them and make them realize the world does NOT revolve around them. If they couldnt 'tolerate' being around you guys if it werent for the kids, why would they want to STAY with you guys?

exactly and you know what I dont need to be around someone who only tolerates me because of the kids & furthermore my kids dont need to be around those kind of people anyway.

honestly......i thought I had it bad with inlaws being ignorant....nevermind, you have 1st place. damn girl.

johnny is what 30 something......time to grow up...you have to do what is best for you jo....no one can really tell you what to do, I think you already know what you have to do. we'll all stick by you no matter what.

I wish you could reach thru the screen and smack them! I told my niece this morning that I honestly 110% think that his parents are hoping to bust our marriage up. They cant stand that they arent #1 in Johnnys life. His dad told him last night (this I just found out thru email) that he didnt raise him to be "hen-pecked" and that Johnny should be a man and tell me that he'll do as he pleases or I can go to hell. the truth is Johnny chooses to come home everyday at 515, he chooses to call me if he's running late at work, he'd rather spend all his off work time with me and the boys its not like I have ever told him he couldnt do this or that. I just think that tonight Johnny & I are going to sit down and have a very long talk about how I feel, I may just print out my entry (not the replies) and let him read how I feel right now, maybe seeing it in writing will help it sink in better than me trying to say it, i'm better at expressing how I feel in writing anyway, speaking I usually get all tongue tied or my words come out the wrong way.

Honestly I think whats up with them is that they cant stand it if they arent in the spotlight, so when someone else is getting any attention whether they are young or old it irks them to the point they have to act like immature brats. With Brandon being in school of course alot of our time and energy is devoted to him. Then of course having a new baby, we have to devote a lot of time and energy to Brycen. Whats left over gets split between each other and work(his job and my household duties). That was fine because on sundays we'd go to my parents for lunch and usually lounge around visiting until 5 then we'd go eat dinner and buy groceries and go home. Well now we started attending a church so we get to my parents around 1215 instead of 1130 and we leave by 3 instead of 5 because church is again at 6 on sunday evenings and it just makes them crazy!!
