There is just too much on my plate at work right now. I've been letting just about everything else slide. So, today, I did NOT do any work work. Instead, I went to the grocery store, went to the park with The Kid so he could practice pitching (and fielding and batting) and made dinner for him and his friend AND did my taxes! Work is starting to spin out of control. Had my first conversation with Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore last night. Tokyo really really REALLY wants to deploy before the end of April.

I've got a baaad feeling about this....

But I hear business class to Asia is quite nice. Guess I should sign up for miles, huh?

I found out yesterday that I got a promotion and a 31.5% raise. Pretty damned cool. Of course, this means that I may have to start acting a little more like a grownup at work ( Read more... )

Gah. I don't have the energy for this shit.

And my boss wants to deploy to at least one of the Asia offices by June. Yeah. Right.

Note to self: the next time you go to work for a multi-national, make sure they have an office in Fiji.
