A Little Bit About Me!
I am very, VERY, VERRRRRRY caring. I am that way by nature - some people may see it as bizarre to find those qualities in a man, but frankly, that doesn't matter. This is how I am, and for better or worse, I will always care about people. If people see me as weak because of it, that's their problem to deal with - I am very secure in the fact that I love my friends and I would do anything for them.
This journal is mine; therefore, I don't see how it is up to anyone else to dictate what I place in it. If I'm going through a hard patch in my life, I'm going to post it: if you don't want to read it, then you are, by all means, free to leave. If I need to get something out of my system, this is the place I will do it - I have many good friends here, and just as I want to be there for them, they want to be here for me. Deal?
I am a very strong believer in God. This doesn't mean that I'm going to try and convert any of you, and it certainly doesn't mean that I appreciate automatically being lumped into the "anti-abortion war criminal" category. I have my beliefs, and frankly, no amount of debate is going to change them. THIS DOES NOT MEAN, however, that I am not open to change. I find myself to be VERY objective - that being said, if something doesn't ring right with me, I'm not going to put stock in it. Period.
I do not enjoy ignorance, and I certainly do not enjoy having people debate me about something they heard on CNN. I am, by no means, opposed to such debate, but I really don't like endless screaming back and forth. I don't know if anyone has noticed it, but it really solves nothing.
I try to be the best friend I can possibly be. If you are added, I want to know you - I don't want you to just be a name on a list. I have hope with anyone I meet that, in time, we will become great friends (I've met some of my best friends through this system).
I am an avid Photoshopper, and I really don't care for the saying that it is a "waste of time." As technical a person as I am, I very much enjoy using my creativity, and I like making things for both myself and others.
