After months of planning, S's surprise party was finally last weekend. I really miss my boyfriend right now. I mean, I always miss him when he is on trips, but I've started to get used to them I guess. But this time I miss him something extra. He's been gone for like a week and a half and I just can't wait to see him on Sunday morning.  It feels like it's been forever.

So today was my last full of day of teaching with the kids.  They will be back in for final exams on Wed, Thurs, and Fri, but it all seems so bittersweet. The Wells wedding was AMAZING. From Friday set up, rehersal, and sleep over to Saturday morning hair curling, ceremoney, lino ride, and finally reception, every little bit was perfect.  But, like Kathryn said, it has made me miss everyone so much more.  I have been aching this week because I miss Kathryn, Kurtis, and Emily as constants in my life ( Read more... )

I'm heading into the final strench of my first year as a teacher, and it feels pretty good.

I only have about 2 months left... the rest of April, May, and then 2 weeks of June. Wow. I can't believe how fast it's gone by and how long it's felt at the same time.  I feel incredibly accomplished for everything I've done since this time last year. And I ( Read more... )
