James Dube 1985-2006

I wasn't particularly close to Specialist Dube but we did serve in the same Platoon for over a year and where  in Iraq together. I treated him as a person and as a soldier in whom I could trust my life if needed.

We rolled a few combat patrols in the same vehicle and where involved in hundreds of platoon and company combat missions together.

I'm sorry to hear that about your comrade-in-arms. To go through that bit of hell only to come home and be killed by a DUI driver. :(

It's always a bit of shock to hear someone you know has died / been killed.

OMG! How sad, how very very sad. A young adult like that, killed in such a senseless way, just breaks my heart. Life is disappointing and painful when drunk drivers end lives that are so full of promise. :-(

Ype I am sorry Andrew told me about it today.. I hope you guys get through it and remember the good time. Just know that he has not left you.. he still helps you, just not in the physical being that you know. You guys do what you gotta do and come home safe.. see ya hun.
