Ha! I do like it. Orbis Tertius/Circular Ruins mashed up with Fitzgerald's Gatsby coda - and/or Bishop's Brazil 1600 poem. Nice.

Bit hazy on just what here put you in mind of it or of Cambridge change, though they don't seem infinitely far off.
