Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy? 5'6 without heels, thin, proportionate. She's considered a perfect specimen of a human.
2. How old is she? 19 in canon, possibly 20 by the end of it. Actual age of her body is...unknown. Possibly as young as 3 and as old as 6.
3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch? Definitely carries herself well, almost with regal posture. Very well trained.
4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? Fit, thin, good muscles in her legs. No illnesses, no physical disabilities.
5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid? Graceful, sleek, fluid...a little tense at times.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror? To others, she's extremely attractive. Again, in canon, she's perceived as a perfect specimen. In all honesty, she doesn't think of herself as really beautiful, but she knows she's very attractive to others.
7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred? Fair skin, no blemishes, nothing. After several months in Siren's Port, her skin's gone from very pale to a reasonable tone.
8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style. Black hair, long, soft. She takes very good care of it.
9. What color are her eyes? Blue, almost a blue-green.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features? None.
11. What are her chief tension centers? Shoulders, neck, and back.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit? Re-l wears mostly blacks and dark colors. She has violets and dark blues, even a dark maroon here and there in her closet. She's got a few neutral colors in there and a few light things, but that's it. She's strictly professional dress.
13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them? They're very form fitting. Her pants are pretty much cat-suit pants. She seems very comfortable in them, though.
14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences? Absolutely.
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando? ...Well, she usually wears underwear that matches her camisole or bra.
Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse? Very normal, not too high or too low.
2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate? Evenly, and she talks with practiced ease but with an air of professionalism.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? Nope.
4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency? English.
5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations? Nope.
6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words? She can be either. She thinks about what the other person says before responding but she doesn't take too long. She doesn't show any hesitation if she can help it.
7. Is she eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change? Very eloquent.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart? She's both book-smart and street-smart, though she's very practical by nature. She's not likely to be capable of rattling off random obscure facts but she knows the important things.
2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate? She thinks on her feet.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? Intuitive and logical, very practical.
4. What kind of education has the character had? Private tutoring under programmed AutoReivs. She's had to pack in 19 years of life into about 3-6 years so it can be concluded that she's very intelligent.
5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about? Romdeau law, investigative psychology, criminology, psychopathology.
6. Is she an introvert or an extrovert? Neither, really. She can speak with people very easily but she doesn't go out of her way to do so. She seeks out like-minded people.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is she even-tempered or does she have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven? Mood swings. She may be fairly even-tempered but she gets annoyed rather easily. She has a very neutral outlook but is very driven in her convictions.
8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic? She approaches with a wary eye but a great deal of curiosity.
9. Is she more likely to act, or to react? Act.
10. Which is her default: fight or flight? Fight.
11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does she appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks? She appreciates good humor, the wiser the better. Bathroom humor and low-blow pranks are distasteful.
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does she deal with them? No. She was diagnosed with having seen hallucinations of monsters brought on by stress and paranoia, but that was just a cover up to keep her quiet.
13. What moments in this character's life have defined her as a person? Her entire canon, basically. She's gone from a cheerful and shy little girl to a fierce and determined young woman. She's been kind and she's been cruel.
14. What does she fear? Proxies, suffocation, very enclosed spaces, being tied down (in some instances).
15. What are her hopes or aspirations? She aspires to help Vincent Law, to find the truth, and to fix the world from its degenerated state.
16. What is something she doesn't want anyone to find out about her? Her potential of being far younger than she is, her powers in sirenspull, and how terrible of a person she truly was.
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with her parents. She had only her grandfather and their relationship was one-sided at best. She loved him and always wanted his approval, but he never gave her the time of day once it was established that she couldn't fulfill the purpose he wanted for her. Even when he sent his AutoReivs to assassinate her, even when he was killed for his cruelty, she never stopped wanting his love.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like? Nope.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom she is close? Are there ones she can't stand? Nope.
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom she considers part of her family? What are her relationships with them? The Collective, at best. They were her tutors and guides but the more rebellious she was, the worse they treated her, dismissing anything she said.
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet? Daedalus Yumeno. (Headcanon) They met when she was very small, briefly, but then when she was 5-6 they met again. He looked after her and she thought of him as her best friend.
Besides him is Iggy, her Entourage. He was her protector and nanny, of a sort, and she cared for him up until she simply saw him as her grandfather's pawn and her servant once she grew older.
6. Does she have other close friends? [Canon] Vincent Law (debatable) and Pino.
7. Does she make friends easily, or does she have trouble getting along with people? She gets along with like-minded people and she makes acquaintances and allies easily. True friends, however, are something she has a hard time finding because she lacks the trust.
8. Which does she consider more important: family or friends? Both are equal. She'd prefer a family, but she has friends. It works out.
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has she been married more than once? Single.
10. Is she currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse? This is complicated. A formal relationship? No. She's very close to Vincent Law because their fates are intertwined but it hasn't developed into anything yet.
11. Who was her first crush? Who is her latest? First crush: Daedalus. Latest: Unknown.
12. What does she look for in a romantic partner? A lot of things. They have to be interesting, first and foremost. She has to be able to trust them at least a little. They need to be presentable most of the time with a sense of humor and a modicum of intelligence. She'd like for them to be strong, attractive, a little unpredictable and surprising, and they can't treat her like she's porcelain.
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does she relate to them? If no, does she want any? None
14. Does she have any rivals or enemies? Enemies... Yes. Rivals? No.
15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does she fall on the Kinsey scale? 1. She's predominantly heterosexual but finds women to be beautiful and attractive. She might want to be with a woman but only under certain circumstances.
16. How does she feel about sex? How important is it to her? Sex is something Romdeau citizens engage in for pleasure and nothing more. No reproduction is involved. Knowing that she is the only person in Romdeau capable of organically rearing a child on her own with a working reproductive system, she's very wary about having sex. Does it stop her? Not likely.
She'd prefer to be with someone she trusts, finds very attractive, or has feelings for even slightly.
17. What are her turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
Turn-ons: Godlike people, power, truth, justice... Actual turn-ons would be rough handling, possibly soft bondage, breathplay, watching the other person come undone...
Turn-offs: Hardcore bondage, enclosed spaces, spanking, potty things, bloodplay, watersports.
Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does she fit type? Taurus and Dragon.
Magnanimous, stately, vigorous, strong, self-assured, proud, noble, direct, dignified, eccentric, intellectual, fiery, passionate, decisive, pioneering, artistic, generous, loyal. Can be tactless, arrogant, imperious, tyrannical, demanding, intolerant, dogmatic, violent, impetuous, brash.
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in her life? Neither. The gods in her world are Proxies and the "creators", both of whom are mortal and fashioned after each other. Needless to say, she has issues with "god".
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it? Absolutely. Human beings are to be respected and treated equally, first and foremost. Slavery is wrong. Experimentation is...necessary under humane conditions and consent. Criminals deserve time in prison or some sort of punishment. A human life should not be wasted; the death penalty should be reserved for truly monstrous people.
She would be called to question her ethics if something happened to a friend or a loved one.
4. How does she regard beliefs that differ from hers? Is she tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent? Curiosity, tolerance, indifference at times.
5. What prejudices does she hold? Are they irrational or does she have a good reason for them?
Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is she rich, poor, comfortable, in debt? Used to be very wealthy. She has a good job now but it's not like it was.
2. What is her social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected her? Regent's granddaughter, the equivalent of being Romdeau's princess. In Siren's Port, she's a police officer and a newcomer case worker. She's gotten used to not being at the top of the pile even if she still acts like she is.
3. Where does she live? House, apartment, trailer? Is her home her castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does she share it with others? Very modern two bedroom apartment, comfortable, clean, shared with Daedalus Yumeno and Vincent Law.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does she spend her money on? Clothes, small things to dote on herself, gifts for others if necessary, bills, helping others.
5. What does she do for a living? Is she good at it? Does she enjoy it, or would she rather be doing something else? In Romdeau, she was an immigrant case worker. In Siren's Port, she's a police officer and a newcomer case worker. She enjoys the latter but not being an officer. It may give her access to things, but the police are highly incompetent.
6. What are her interests or hobbies? How does she spend her free time? Reading, exercising, learning new things, teaching herself how to control her powers, etc.
7. What are her eating habits? Does she skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods? Light meals, often skips breakfast or lunch. She drinks on occasion with a few select people.
