Just got back from disneyworld

Man am I spoiled. My aunt's christmas gift to my family (my dad, sister, and I) was a trip to disneyworld. It had it's ups and downs, such is life, but definately fun! I also figured out "what I want to be when I grow up." My favorite park in disneyworld (their are four) is animal kingdom, which for those who know me should come as no suprise

Whoa! How did you get to watch an ostrich surgery? That is AWESOME!! :D

At animal kingdom they have this place called "the conservation station" and in this building is a room that's plexy glass on one side and when they need to perform surgery or do checkups on the animals in the park they bring them their so people can watch. I was just lucky enough (or the ostrich was unlucky enough) to be there at the perfect time. She (the ostrich) unfortunately swallowed a nail and it caused some internal damage. I got to see them extract the nail and fix the internal damage it caused. They had this big blanket thing over most of it, since it is disneyworld and it's quite graphic but they did leave a little space where those of us who wanted to see it all could do so. Sooo freakin awesome! :)
